Music and Entertainment

Stithians Show Music and Entertainment Offer

Our objective is to showcase local talent both new and established on our three stages: The Bandstand, Busker's Square and the Main Stage.

Each area has seating and is close to catering facilities enabling the visitor to stop awhile and enjoy some refreshment and be entertained.

The 2024 line up will be detailed once bookings are completed, but one established favourite, St Stythians Band, will be entertaining throughout the day.

Bandstand

St Stythians Band will start Show day with their traditional 10 a.m. march down from the main gate to the flagpoles proudly followed by the Association’s Officers and Members to mark the official opening of the Show with the raising of the flag, some words from our President and a rousing recital of the National Anthem followed by Cornwall’s own patriotic anthem, Trelawney. What better way to start the day!

They will then take their position in the bandstand where they will entertain our visitors with a mixed programme of tunes throughout the day until 4:30 p.m. when they’ll take a well- deserved rest before taking part in our evening concert at 8 p.m.

At 4.30 p.m. the style will change and you will be entertained by a mix of acts to help round off the day.

There is plenty of seating around the bandstand so it is an ideal place to rest a while and enjoy some of the delights from the food and bar area close by.

Main Stage

Our central entertainment venue offering a mix of acts and we are delighted to be welcoming back Andy Marshall who will be compering the day plus treating us to some tunes.
