The show is always evolving and developing and 2017 is no different! We have a tremendous line up on our stage in which we see Newell’s Travel join Kelly’s of Bodmin as joint sponsors of this feature.

Newquay’s singer songwriter, Daisy Clark will be doing two sets for us, following her recent appearances on ITV’s Lorraine and BBC’s Blue Peter she’s become an internet sensation making #2 in the iTunes Charts behind Ed Sheeran with her latest release, Hopelessly Devoted to You.

We’re also pleased to welcome back, Andy Marshall, our 1940s Crooner, who wooed the crowds last year with his Frank Sinatra favourites.

New to the stage will be the popular Wadebridge based Shipwrecks, who will no doubt be enjoying a pint as they offer a traditional selection of Cornish songs and Treviglas School’s The Steelers, a student steel band whose accolades include performing at Camp Bestival last year and a recent invitation to perform at Glastonbury!

Mini Music & Dance Festival - NEW FOR 2017 - 2017 will see the addition of this new feature at the show and we’ll be inviting local performers to come and have a go at performing in our family friendly area where we’ll have straw bales to rest those weary legs, somewhere to get a bite to eat and a play area for the little people to enjoy!  Fancy performing with us? The entertainment stage is now sponsored by Kelly's of Bodmin and Newell’s Travel and this has allowed us to give a more varied line up of artistes with some new and some returning acts.

Details of 2018 performers will be added when bookings have been finalised.

St Stythians Band will perform throughout Show Day, mainly on the bandstand which is located near the Trade Stand field catering and Show Luncheon marquee.

Their first duty of the day is to accompany the procession of Officers and Vice Presidents from the main gate to the flag poles for the opening ceremony. At the ceremony they will play the National Anthem and The Song of the Western Men (Trelawney).

Shortly after the procession they will take their places on the bandstand to entertain the visitors. (Naturally they take periodic breaks.)
